What have you learnt about Technologies form the process of constructing this Product?

From my Preliminary task to my final product I learnt and managed to use different technologies:

  • PowerPoint
  • SlideShare
  • Youtube
  • Survey Monkey
  • Photoshop
  • Prezi
  • Go Animate
  • Publisher
  • Blogger

PHOTOSHOP

Photoshop was created in 1988. Since then, it has become the de facto industry standard in raster graphics editing, such that the word "photoshop" has become a verb as in "to Photoshop an image,"
It can edit and compose raster images in multiple layers and supports masks, Photoshop has vast support for graphic file formats but also uses its own PSD and PSB file formats which support all the aforementioned features. In addition to raster graphics, it has limited abilities to edit or render text.

Photoshop has different tools that allow to modify or create an image that I've been using while creating my product, the following are the ones I used the most:

  • Pen tool
  • Shape tools
  • Cropping
  • Slicing
  • Moving
  • Marquee
  • Lasso
  • Eraser

Before any type of print media is published, whether it is a magazine, newspaper, or even novel, it is likely the case that Photoshop has been used to enhance and clean up the imagery on many if not all of the pages. Magazines use Photoshop and many of its tools in order to enhance the imagery and text in their publications. Many Health and Beauty Magazines employ in-house designers to retouch photos of models to enhance their beauty. They add finishing touches to the imagery by using tools that balance color and add drop shadows, among other edits.

YOUTUBE

I've used Youtube mostly for tutorials, which helped me when I couldn't figure out how to do something. These are just some of them.

My favorite channel:

Overview

The most important thing I learned about technologies is that not everything that you can find in the internet is true and valid and as helpful, even essential, as it is, it always has to be considered and called into question.
